Raised in San Antonio and deeply rooted in the Texas Hill Country, Shalyn L. McCumber has always felt a strong connection to the land and the lifestyle that define Central Texas. Before entering real estate, Shalyn served as the Construction Bonding Manager for Eagle Insurance Company and Harris & Lightfoot Insurance Agency, where she specialized in bonding small to medium-sized construction companies across Texas. That experience gave her a unique understanding of how projects are built — from both a financial and operational perspective — and strengthened the skills she now brings to her clients: attention to detail, clear communication, and trust.

Shalyn’s lifelong love of property investment, construction, and design naturally led her to real estate. Her deep appreciation for how each home tells its own story — from its foundation to its finishes — fuels her passion for helping clients find the property that perfectly fits their goals and lifestyle. Known for her integrity, professionalism, and heartfelt dedication, she strives to make every transaction seamless, transparent, and rewarding. Family is at the heart of Shalyn’s life. She is the proud mother of three sons — Daniel, Walker, and Josh — and adores her daughters-in-law, Caitlyn, Sarah, and Mary Grace. Her grandchildren, Liam and Maelyn Jayne, bring endless joy to her days, as does her loyal rescue dog, Sam Wise. When she’s not assisting clients, Shalyn enjoys spending time with family, exploring the Hill Country’s wineries, and soaking in the rich culture and live music that make Central Texas such a special place to call home.
