Show the World Your No Bummer Summer

This summer, people from around the world are getting a glimpse of life in Texas as the excitement of the World Cup spreads across the country. What better time to show off everything that makes Central Texas such an incredible place to live?

We're challenging you to have a No Bummer Summer—and share it along the way. This project was inspired by a friend of a friend, Esme Barrera, the original No Bummer Summer queen, Girls Rock Camp counselor, and all-around best person, who passed away in 2012. No Bummer Summer is a club where the goal is to have fun, get out of your comfort zone, and make memories. .

Whether you're floating a river, exploring a small-town square, discovering a new restaurant, catching live music, visiting a local attraction, or finally checking out that spot you've been saying you'll visit "someday," we want to see it. Snap a photo, post it to social media, and tag @synergyhomefinders so others can experience Central Texas through your adventures or add the hashtag #NoBummerSummer. And if you really want people around the world to see what makes our part of the world special, add the hashtag #worldcup or #exploreUSA.

Our No Bummer Summer list isn't meant to be a strict checklist—it's a jumping-off point. Think of it as inspiration to get out, explore your community, and finally visit the places you've been meaning to see. You don't need a big vacation budget or a packed travel itinerary to make lasting memories. Some of the best adventures are right here in our own backyard.
